Job Description
We are looking for a talented Clinical Principal Trainer to join our dynamic EHR Services team at Optum, which is part of UnitedHealth Group. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving healthcare delivery systems by leveraging your expertise in Epic software solutions. The ideal candidate will lead Professional Billing configuration changes, mentor team members, and facilitate software upgrades and enhancements. This is a remote position with the potential to make a significant impact on healthcare technology.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Professional Billing configuration changes and builds, ensuring build quality and timeline adherence.
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
- Mentor local and client-based team members.
- Lead Epic software upgrade initiatives and enhancements.
- Act as a liaison between Operations, IT, and Third-Party Systems.
Required Qualifications
- Active Epic certification in Professional Billing or Claims with 2+ years of Epic experience.
- 4+ years of healthcare experience with domain knowledge in billing, payment posting, etc.
- Subject Matter Expertise in relevant applications.
- Experience in full cycle Epic Implementation on the Professional Billing Application Team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of Epic CEE to maintain certifications.
- History of team management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
