Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will manage industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures, maintain critical spares, coordinate equipment servicing strategies, and establish uptime performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment listings and maximize uptime.
• Secure critical spares for production equipment.
• Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares.
• Update tracking systems and monitor suppliers.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance efficiently.
• Drive machine checks and develop databases to track trends.
• Collaborate with teams on maintenance tasks and OEM visits.
• Utilize Thermography and vibration analysis for equipment maintenance.
• Assist in the development of facility project and maintenance budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and VBA tools.
• Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment.
• Ability to read OEM drawings and Electrical Schematics.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Aerospace Assembly, Machine Shop, or Composites Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methods.
• Proficiency in CAD design and Additive Manufacturing.
• Inventory management experience and mechanical/electrical system knowledge.
• Experience in Machine Design and laser alignment techniques.
