Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Mechanic/Technician Apprentice to join Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. As part of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment used in freight transportation to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain various equipment including diesel tractors, trucks, forklifts, trailers, and converter gear.
- Track and manage work progress to meet service schedules and customer commitments.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol tests.
- Preferably prior experience in Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, Welding, or related fields.
Pay
$25.32-$27.30 per hour
