Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a Histotechnologist to join our team on a full-time evening shift. As a Histotechnologist, you will be responsible for preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Essential Functions
- Perform histotechnician tasks including embedding tissue, cutting sections, staining slides, and conducting various routine and special staining procedures.
- Prepare specimens for frozen section examination by a pathologist, maintain inventory, and ensure equipment cleanliness.
- Engage in continuous professional development and comply with quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required.
- Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred.

- Primary Location: 35 Michigan St - Grand Rapids
- Department: Lab - Histology - GR
