Histotechnologist Full Time Evening Shift

Job Description

Join Corewell Health as a full-time Histotechnologist for the evening shift. As part of our histology lab team, you will play a crucial role in preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists. Your responsibilities will include embedding tissue, cutting tissue, performing various staining procedures, preparing slides, and maintaining lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree.
• Certifications: CRT-Histotechnician (HT) - ASCP preferred; CRT-Histotechnologist (HTL) - ASCP preferred.

Physical Demands

Demonstrates physical capability for the role including lifting, carrying, sitting, standing, and other physical activities. Visual acuity and color vision may be required.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Grand Rapids, MI.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Shift: Evening (1:00 pm-9:30 pm, Monday to Friday).
