Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a Histotechnologist to join our team on a full-time night shift basis. As a Histotechnologist, you will be responsible for preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination, ensuring accurate diagnosis by our pathologists.
Responsibilities
- Perform histotechnician tasks including tissue embedding, cutting, slide preparation, and staining.
- Conduct routine and special staining procedures, including immunohistochemical staining.
- Dissect and describe specimens when necessary.
- Maintain inventory, clean lab equipment, and ensure quality control.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required.
- Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred.

Primary Location: 35 Michigan St, Grand Rapids

Shift: Night (9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Monday to Friday)
