Job Description
Corewell Health is looking for a talented Histotechnologist Lead to join our dedicated team. As a Histotechnologist Lead, you will be responsible for preparing laboratory specimens for microscopic evaluation, overseeing the histology section, and ensuring smooth operations in the absence of the pathology laboratory supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform histology technologist duties.
- Assist in planning schedules and work assignments.
- Ensure special staining procedures are executed correctly.
- Coordinate chemical waste disposal.
- Ensure adequate inventory and supplies are maintained.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field.
- HT/HTL (ASCP) certification.
- One to three years' experience as a histology technologist.
