Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Product Manager (Mid-Level) to join USAA through the Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) Fellowship Cohort 24-2 program. As a Technical Product Manager, you will leverage your knowledge of business and technology domains to contribute to data-driven strategies, align business and technology objectives, and monitor systems for operational efficiency. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and develop technology solutions, analyze data insights, and ensure risk and compliance adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and monitor IT controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide data-driven insights to define strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to develop technology solutions.
  • Work on product feature development, requirements, and implementation.
  • Develop business cases for technology solutions.
  • Ensure accurate data flow diagrams and data storage for operational needs.
  • Monitor system health and performance using problem-solving techniques.
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are managed in accordance with policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in a technical product development role.
  • Experience in agile methodologies, problem-solving, and analytics.
  • Ability to gather technical requirements and analyze data.
  • Good communication skills for presenting business and technical concepts.
  • Participation in Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Program Cohort 24-2.

Additional Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing Technology/Software.
  • Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
