Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Lead Mechanic / Shop Foreman to join our team at First Student. Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform maintenance on school bus fleets.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Supervise technicians in the shop and track work progress.
- Maintain knowledge of vehicle components for effective maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor operational performance and efficiency to drive improvements.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain CDL.
- 5+ years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience.
- Prior supervisor or lead technician experience preferred.
- Mechanic’s tool set required.
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
