Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team at Keene Young Men's organization. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality childcare and implementing our program curriculum in alignment with the YMCA core values. Your focus will be on youth development and creating a nurturing environment that fosters the potential of every child in our community.
Responsibilities
- Implement curriculum and lesson plans within guidelines.
- Supervise children and classroom activities.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of child development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and maintain positive relationships.
- Maintain program site, equipment, and required records.
Requirements
- Meet NH state law educational and experience qualifications.
- Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified and complete Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a developmental setting preferred.
- Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
