Job Description

This full-time LPN opportunity at Bishop Gadsden in a Memory Care setting requires providing quality nursing care to residents through professional and pleasant interaction. The successful candidate will have compassion for and the desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Interact with staff, residents, families, and physicians to provide optimum care for each resident
• Observe and document any significant changes in residents’ mental or physical condition and communicate to Myers Hall Manager, physician, and family or designee
• Facilitate administration of medications according to established procedures and in a timely manner
• Perform resident treatments as required
• Oversee the accurate administration of medications by Med Techs, through direct supervision and guidance

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift (up to 50 lbs.)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in written English
• Must be licensed (LPN) by the state of South Carolina and in good standing with a current active license
