About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join Gentex Corporation, a global leader in personal protection solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for precision machining complex parts using CNC and manual equipment, supporting the development of electro-mechanical products. The ideal candidate will uphold quality and safety standards while overseeing supplies and equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Champion adherence to machine shop safety guidelines.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Select appropriate materials and tools for projects.
• Utilize CAD/CAM software for machining operations.
• Collaborate with the production team to address technical challenges.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC/Manual Machinist.
• Technical postsecondary education (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in using CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
