Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Manager of Infection Control to join our team at Kettering Health Network. As the Infection Control Officer, you will play a vital role in implementing procedures and policies to prevent disease transmission among patients and staff. You will conduct scientific research, develop infection surveillance programs, and ensure compliance with national guidelines, all to maintain a safe and healthy environment within our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Infection Control Officer, advocating for safe patient care.
• Develop and implement facility-wide infection surveillance and prevention policies.
• Provide expert guidance to the Infection Prevention and Control team.
• Conduct routine departmental rounding to ensure policy compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Active Ohio Registered Nursing Licensure or equivalent.

Work Environment

• Requires travel to network facilities for rounds and projects.
• Fast-paced environment with multiple projects and flexible hours.
• Frequent use of computer systems for data review and research.
• Regular formal meetings and support to hospital units.
