About the Diesel Mechanic Position

As a Diesel Mechanic at First Student, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure safety and readiness. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and vehicle repairs.

Diesel Technician Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; willingness to obtain CDL during employment.
• Minimum 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical education.
• Own a mechanic's tool set and be willing to participate in ASE certification program.
• Subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
