Job Description
We are actively seeking a Medical Technologist to join the Corewell Health team on a full-time basis. General Summary
The Medical Technologist will perform various routine and specialized tests and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Areas of work may include Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Immunohematology, and more.
Essential Duties
- Independently perform routine/complex laboratory procedures.
- Evaluate instrument performance and quality control results.
- Standardize, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Assist in developing new test procedures and methodologies.
- Participate in educating students, residents, and new employees.
- Contribute to quality assurance and regulatory activities.
- Provide guidance and support to laboratory personnel.
