Job Description
Corewell Health, the largest not-for-profit health care system in Michigan, is seeking a talented Medical Technologist to join our team at the Wayne Campus on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory tests and procedures under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine clinical laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
- Evaluate instrument performance and quality control results to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytic data.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment within established parameters.
- Participate in training programs and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in biology and chemistry.
- Clinical internship completion or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP or equivalent certifying agency.
