Job Description
Corewell Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Michigan, is seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist Lead to join our team at the Dearborn Campus Chemistry Lab. In this full-time role, you will assist in supervising the laboratory department, ensuring quality, process improvement, staff training, and more. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laboratory operations, including personnel functions and training.
- Coordinate quality assurance, control, and process improvement activities.
- Serve as a technical resource for instruments and procedures.
- Assist with education, training, and competency assessment.
- Perform specific discipline procedures using laboratory instruments.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in biology and chemistry with lab training.
- Minimum 2 years of technical experience in a licensed laboratory.
- Certification in Medical Laboratory Science or related discipline.
