Job Description
Match Education is seeking a dedicated Middle School Sub-Separate Classroom Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. This position is based at Match Middle School in Boston, MA. As a teacher at Match, you will play a crucial role in providing instruction and support to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in a sub-separate classroom setting. Your responsibilities will include managing the Special Education program, upholding academic and behavioral expectations, participating in professional development, and contributing positively to our school community.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience, preferably in urban education.
- Valid Special Education license or ability to obtain one within a year of hire.
- Belief in the success of all students and willingness to continuously improve teaching practice.
- Proven track record of student achievement and teamwork.
