Responsibilities
- Process prescription requests while building trusted customer relationships and demonstrating patience, empathy, care, and compassion.
- Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and address issues to achieve the best outcome for customers.
- Follow department processes and procedures to input information, dispense medication, and verify information.
- Assist with tasks, maintain appropriate inventory levels through ordering, and rotate and stock drugs and other supplies.
- Handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices.
Requirements
- Computer skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations in order to perform data entry and fill prescriptions without error.
- State-specific may require Pharmacy Technician certification.
- New Jersey applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
