Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven Preferred Accounts Manager to join our team at Johns Manville, part of the Berkshire Hathaway family. In this role, you will be responsible for managing business development, sales efforts, and account activities for key clients in the roofing industry. As a National Accounts Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams to drive value propositions and increase business with existing and new Preferred Account clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as an industry leader and trusted partner for clients.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert prospect accounts into long-term JM clients.
  • Develop multi-level relationships with key decision makers.
  • Support winning efforts of the sales team by driving JM position and preference.
  • Act as a single point of contact, delivering superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Ability to analyze products, negotiate, and navigate complex selling situations.
  • Experience in business development at a national account level.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial building owners, roofing consultants, and specifiers.
  • Advanced sales techniques and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing competitor products.
  • Participation in relevant industry associations.
