Job Description

NESCO Resource, in partnership with a reputable CNC machining manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated Process Engineer with expertise in cutting tools and manufacturing processes. The selected candidate will contribute to enhancing production efficiency, quality, and overall competitiveness for our client across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workpiece materials, machining requirements, and tolerances to recommend optimal cutting tools and tool paths for various CNC machining operations.
• Utilize Autodesk Inventor and CAD programs to design and develop manufacturing processes for CNC machining operations, considering factors such as tool selection, machine capabilities, cycle times, and quality requirements.
• Continuously monitor and analyze machining processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cycle time reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to establish and implement inspection procedures, ensuring that manufactured components meet or exceed industry and customer specifications.
• Work closely with design engineers, production teams, and project managers to provide technical expertise in the development and execution of machining projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience of 7+ years as a Process Engineer, preferably within CNC machining, cutting tools, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and other CAD software for process development and documentation.
• Familiarity with CNC machines, machining principles, and programming languages (G-code, CAM).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot process-related issues.
