Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented expert in Healthcare Quality Assurance and Testing field sales to be our Service Line Sales Specialist. This individual will work closely with our client accounts to support vertical market alignment, account expansion plans, and new market engagements. As a trusted advisor, you will blend strategic, tactical, and savvy sales experience to deliver sales results and contribute to revenue growth for QEA/SPE (Quality Engineering & Assurance/Software and Platform Engineering). Cultivating a relevant industry or technology point of view with clients and peers, you will increase Cognizant's value to our clients. You will also work towards cultivating client relationships at CxO levels and participate in the sales teams and client account teams. Additionally, you will identify early renewal opportunities and opportunities for transformative client conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales results and contribute to revenue growth for QEA/SPE
  • Cultivate and share relevant industry or technology point of view with clients and peers
  • Work to close deals using sales standard methodologies such as client call plans, win strategies, and close plans
  • Contribute constructively and creatively into the client account planning and pipeline generation activities led by Cognizant industries and business units

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in IT services and sales in large enterprise organizations
  • Experience selling within the Healthcare vertical (Payer, Provider, PBM)
  • Consistent track record of sales experience and success delivering to and exceeding sales quotas of approximately $10M-$25M
  • Experience developing opportunity pipelines, qualifying high-priority deals, and winning new business in line with agreed targets
  • Ability to quickly pivot and accommodate client needs
  • Under normal conditions, typically up to 50% travel is required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly matrixed environment

Location: Hartford, CT (or surrounding areas), Hybrid work location (3 days in office)
