Job Description

PacifiCorp is seeking a customer-centric Regional Business Manager III to provide superior account and community management to key community, commercial, and industrial accounts. As the primary point of contact with assigned communities and accounts, this role involves promoting a culture of outstanding customer service, managing relationships with key community and account contacts, and delivering exceptional customer service to communities through participation in various meetings and events. Additionally, the position requires negotiation of franchise agreements, assurance of high customer satisfaction, and collaboration with other company business units to address and solve customer problems and concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a customer-first culture and commitment to delivering outstanding results for customers.
  • Manage relationships with City and County elected officials, business associations, other key community contacts, and large commercial/industrial account contacts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to communities through participation in city and county meetings, business association and rotary meetings, and more.
  • Participate in selected civic and economic development organizations to stay informed about community issues and provide information to the public about company policies/programs.
  • Inform communities of company initiatives by delivering key messages and giving presentations to local organizations as appropriate.
  • Negotiate franchise agreements and resolve issues affecting communities.
  • Manage the company's involvement in community events that support company objectives.
  • Establish business relationships with key contacts and ensure high customer satisfaction ratings with assigned customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and response to customers regarding power quality, billing, expansion projects, executive visits, outages, and credit issues.
  • Utilize project management, teamwork, and leadership skills to communicate effectively and create solutions-oriented outcomes for assigned customers.
  • Collaborate with other company business units to address and solve customer problems and concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Communications, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in account or community management.
  • Management skills including the ability to establish objectives, execute policy, monitor resources, and manage the development or implementation of a system, program, or process.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to provide input into policy decisions and to mobilize resources to produce desired business results.
  • Working knowledge of electric system operations, electric principles, regulation, tariffs and billings, and political environment on state and community levels.
  • Demonstrated project management, teamwork, and leadership skills to produce desired business results.
  • Strong computer skills including the use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferences

  • Prior experience in the energy industry.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15% of salary.
