Job Description

Sherwood Autism Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting independence for adults with autism and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis principles to support our students in achieving their individual goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct instruction and support based on individualized educational plans.
  • Facilitate community and on-site activities while following behavior support plans.
  • Document and track student progress in accordance with IEP/ISP goals.
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment.

Requirements

  • RBT certification and 60+ college credit hours.
  • Experience in special education and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude, critical thinking skills, and customer service orientation.
