Job Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time Community Services Registered Nurse to join our team at Matheny School and Hospital in Frelinghuysen, NJ. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary nurse for a caseload of community residents, provide skilled nursing care, and ensure continuity of care and coordination of care plans. This position requires leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary nurse for assigned community residents.
- Provide skilled professional nursing care.
- Interact with staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Facilitate teamwork between nurses, DSPs, and clinical departments.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- 1 year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid NJ Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Valid NJ Driver's License.
