Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. This part-time position involves working nights from 7 pm to 7 am. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to our patients, adhering to physician orders, state and federal regulations, and our facility's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians with rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and adhere to cleanliness regulations.
- Support research related to nursing care quality.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing and maintain yearly CPR certification.
- Attend mandatory in-service training and staff meetings.
- Demonstrate abilities to supervise nursing assistants, make critical nursing decisions, and work effectively within a team.
