Job Description
Join our team at Elizabethtown Healthcare & Rehab Center as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a full-time basis. As an RN, you will be responsible for ensuring quality nursing care for patients by following physicians' orders, state, and federal regulations, and facility policies. This challenging yet rewarding position involves administering medications, supervising nursing assistants, assisting physicians with rounds, and maintaining infection control measures.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality nursing care by following physician's orders and regulations.
- Administer medications as ordered and according to facility policies.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants.
- Assist physicians with rounds and patient care.
- Perform scheduled treatments and maintain infection control measures.
- Assist with research related to the quality of nursing care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current, valid RN license.
- Genuine interest in geriatric nursing and quality patient care.
- CPR certification required yearly.
- Ability to make sound nursing decisions and supervise nursing assistants effectively.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work well with all nursing personnel and other departments.
