Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description

Elizabethtown Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care in the Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS.
• Must be able to pass Critical Care exam within one month of employment or have a current CEN certificate.
• One year of past medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting or physician office practice is preferred.
• High level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, staff, and management.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.

Offering

• Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM, 32 hours per pay period.
