Job Description
The University of Vermont Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the Orthopedics team. As an RN on Miller 6, you will provide high-quality care to orthopedic patients in our state-of-the-art post-operative unit. Our collaborative team includes RNs, LNAs, Therapists, Case Managers, and Medical Staff, working together to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Unit Description
You will care for post-surgical patients, such as those undergoing trauma, hip & knee replacements, and spine surgeries. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities, including ceiling lifts, and offer beautiful views of the UVM campus and Lake Champlain. Opportunities for professional growth and Orthopedic certifications are available, along with the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP).
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Experience in orthopedic care is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
