REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN) - SOUTHPORT HEALTH AND REHABILITATION CENTER

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time weekend position as a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) at Southport Health and Rehabilitation Center. In this role, you will oversee and direct nursing staff, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and coordinate nursing services in compliance with regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and directing the Nursing Services Department.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations while providing nursing services.
• Handle employee issues promptly, document actions, and fulfill on-call responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate; Registered Nurse with a valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric nursing and CPR certification.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff efficiently, follow protocols, and comply with regulations.
• Preferred experience in Long Term Care.
