Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. Reporting to the Senior Director, Development, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with funders, developing fundraising strategies, and supporting various fundraising initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to advancing Enterprise's mission of providing affordable housing and promoting racial equity.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
• Collaborate with program staff to develop compelling case statements for funders.
• Build and nurture relationships with funders, creating customized fundraising strategies.
• Organize meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit proposals, reports, and stewardship documents.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
• Update pipeline and funder records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Proven track record securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
