Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare organization. In this full-time position, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, supporting physicians and delivering compassionate patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamics monitoring, equipment operation, procedure documentation, vascular access, and patient/family education.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures, offering technical support.
- Provide quality patient/family centered care and record essential data.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and technical equipment checks.
- Participate in specific procedure requirements for IR, Cath Lab, or EP Lab cases.
Qualifications
- Completion of accredited radiography program or Cardiovascular Technologist degree.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR settings.
- Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and RT status as per departmental requirements.
- Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
