Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Property Adjuster to join our team at USAA. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will work within established guidelines to ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements and provide exceptional service to our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage claims caseload with a focus on complex damages and specialty claims.
- Investigate claim damages by conducting research and engaging with involved parties.
- Identify coverage concerns and analyze information to determine settlements.
- Utilize estimating technology platforms to prepare claims estimates.
- Provide support during workload surges and Catastrophe operations as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years' relevant property claims adjusting experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating platform.
- Demonstrated negotiation, investigation, and communication skills.
- Understanding of residential construction is a plus.
