Job Description
The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse II/III for the Addiction Treatment Center. As part of the team, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, assisting in the assessment, treatment, and care coordination process. Responsibilities include assessing patient vitals, liaising with labs and pharmacies, ensuring medication compliance, patient education, toxicology tracking, and point-of-care testing. The Staff Nurse III will also serve as a leader within the multidisciplinary team, providing coordinated care to patients and families. Please note the requirement of current RN licensure and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or enrollment in a Bachelor’s program.
