Job Description
At Wegmans Food Markets, the Staff Pharmacist- Floater plays a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmacy care and a unique experience for our customers. You will collaborate with management and technicians to deliver excellence in pharmaceutical services and customer care.
Responsibilities
- Answer, assess, and listen to customer questions, needs, and concerns with empathy, striving to exceed expectations.
- Provide counseling on prescriptions and relay pertinent information for successful at-home medication use.
- Perform all necessary steps of work flow accurately and efficiently to ensure error-free products for customers.
- Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations.
- Support and stay current on company wellness initiatives and ensure consistency and execution.
Required Certifications
- Pharmacist State License-APhA-American Pharmacists Association
- Certified Pharmacist Immunizer-AphA-American Pharmacists Association
Required Education
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
