Join us at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. as a Systems Development Engineer at ADC2S, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud computing technologies to support U.S. Government agencies in implementing innovative solutions. As part of the Serverless team in Seattle, you will contribute to building and supporting fully managed services that simplify the development process for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop systems using modern programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, and more.
  • Collaborate with a team of talented engineers to solve complex problems in software development, systems engineering, and systems security.
  • Identify and implement improvements to tools, processes, and documentation to enhance customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience in designing or architecting new systems and working in networking, storage, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like C++, C#, Java, Python, PowerShell, Ruby.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.

Location and Compensation

This role is based in Seattle, WA, with relocation assistance available. Amazon offers competitive compensation ranging from $103,400 to $201,200/year, depending on geographic market and job-related factors. Additional benefits such as equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package.
