Job Description

Join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. as a Systems Development Engineer, ADC2S. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Government agencies.

We are seeking motivated engineers with a background in software development, systems engineering, and systems security to join our growing Serverless team in Seattle. As part of this team, you will have the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies like Lambda, Simple Workflow, and Step Functions, enabling our customers to build scalable and fault-tolerant systems with ease.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional software development experience, 1+ years of system designing experience, and 7+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience. A current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above is required.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new systems
• 7+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of networking, storage systems, and operating systems
• Experience with modern programming languages like C++, Java, or Python
• Active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java
• Experience in Agile environment using Scrum methodology
