Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Development Engineer to join Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. The role involves implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and solving complex technical problems using the latest cloud computing technologies. The successful candidate will work with U.S. Government agencies to build and support fully managed services, such as Lambda, Simple Workflow, Step Functions, and other internal services.
Responsibilities
- Implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve complex technical problems.
- Work with U.S. Government agencies to build and support fully managed services.
- Operate some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world.
- Create massive scale and powerful new programming paradigms.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience.
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems engineering experience.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
