Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Systems Development Engineer for the specialized group of service teams. You will work on building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems, collaborating with the best and brightest engineers in the industry. This opportunity involves working with the U.S. Intelligence Community, using the latest cloud computing technologies, and contributing to the fastest growing team within Amazon Web Services (AWS), Serverless in Seattle.
As a Systems Development Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for implementing and operating massive scale and powerful new programming paradigms needed for our customers' success. This position plays a vital role in solving hard problems that span the software development, systems engineering, and systems security disciplines, with a focus on improving the lives of AWS customers through tools, processes, and documentation.
The position requires that the selected candidate possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance, with relocation assistance available for the role located in Seattle, WA. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,400/year to $201,200/year, and includes equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of benefits.
