Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to use the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems. As a member of the Serverless team in Seattle, you will be part of a group recognized for building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world to support fully managed services. We are looking for talented engineers who can help us create the massive scale and powerful new programming paradigms that our customers need to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Identify ways to improve the lives of our customers through improvements to tools, processes, and documentation.
- Work with a highly motivated and talented team of systems developers and systems engineers to improve the use of tools in both isolated AWS regions and in the AWS GovCloud regions.
- Implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems using the latest technologies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- Experienced with at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
