Job Description
Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is looking for a Systems Development Engineer, ADC2S, to join its team in Seattle, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud computing solutions for U.S. Government agencies, contributing to some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and operate cloud computing infrastructure.
- Work on innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Government agencies.
- Collaborate with a specialized group of service teams to build and operate large-scale distributed systems.
- Develop and support fully managed serverless services.
- Identify and implement improvements to tools, processes, and documentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of designing or architecting systems experience.
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Background in Agile environments using the Scrum methodology.
