Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our team on a full-time basis, working during night shifts. In this role, you will perform accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams, ensuring quality imaging and patient care.
General Summary
Under the supervision of a site leader, the Ultrasonographer will conduct Ultrasound exams using appropriate equipment, judgement, and clinical skills. It is essential to maintain patient and family-centered care principles at all times.
Essential Duties
- Verifies patient information and physician orders.
- Provides patient education and procedural information.
- Performs Ultrasound exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborates with Radiologists for image review.
- Contributes to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Standard Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be a graduate of a Diagnostic Ultrasound Program, registered by ARDMS, and hold BLS certification. Minimal work experience is required, and additional registry certifications may be necessary within specific time frames.
