Job Description
The Walmart Rx Manager operates the pharmacy from a place of true caring, showing heart for the community and the staff. It takes strong clinical knowledge and business acumen to work to the top of your license, ensuring high levels of patient care, and creating a growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Create a strategy for growth and ensure a high level of patient care.
- Advocate for new initiatives and community impact.
- Drive sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas.
- Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associates to serve as good members of the community.
- Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates in assigned areas.
- Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records as required by Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- U.S. pharmacy related experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
