Job Description
Our Warehouse Operations Internship at Aldi offers a comprehensive 10-week program providing exceptional real-world experience in warehouse operations. It's a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain in-depth knowledge about our operations. Successful completion may lead to a full-time position. Our interns will immerse themselves in the daily activities of our O'Fallon Warehouse, gaining valuable insights into what makes Aldi America’s fastest-growing grocery retailer.
Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations through collaboration with warehouse staff.
- Assist in training and administrative tasks and take initiative to improve warehouse associate performance and efficiency.
- Prepare a presentation and report on an area of warehouse operations for presentation to ALDI executives.
- Attend company/team trainings and meetings as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- In current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively within a group.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and work under strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Physical requirements: ability to work in varying temperatures, stand, sit, bend, reach, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
