Job Description
We are seeking an Applications Engineer to join Productivity Inc, a leading CNC machine tool sales and service company. As an Applications Engineer, you will provide technical support and expertise to manufacturing customers, assist with process improvement, and collaborate closely with our Machine Tool Sales Representatives to deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Offer technical assistance to customers, including programming, tooling, and communication.
- Support the Machine Tool sales team in solution selling activities, such as time studies and process plans.
- Program and set up CNC machines, develop engineering processes, and interpret plans.
- Prepare technical materials, conduct on-site training, and participate in trade shows.
- Maintain a deep technical knowledge of the product lines represented by the company.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of CNC programming, set-up, and operation experience.
- Proficiency in multi-axis machining, CAD/CAM programming, and G and M code.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and a valid driver's license.
