Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Evening/Weekend Coordinator to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. This part-time role involves coordinating and delivering evening/weekend programming to support young adults aged 16-24 in their educational and vocational training journey through the Job Corps program. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a structured evening/weekend studies program to accelerate student learning and support struggling students.
- Collaborate with instructors to design lessons that integrate academic, technical, and career readiness competencies.
- Promote technology-based learning programs and provide guidance to students during individual and group assignments.
- Maintain designated center facilities for effective study and instruction.
- Ensure compliance with student attendance procedures and support students' academic and career development goals.
Requirements
- Minimum: Associate's degree or at least one year of relevant experience working with youth. Willingness to work evening and weekend hours.
- Preferred: Teaching certification in the state of operation.
- Knowledge: Strong ability to relate to students, motivate them, and maintain a high energy level.
