Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a part-time basis at Joyce University's Draper, UT campus. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, painting, and finishing tasks to maintain campus aesthetics.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Inspect facilities regularly to address maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Assist with furniture assembly and installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors on projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles.
• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects.
• Licensure in relevant trades is a plus.
