Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are hiring a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a full-time member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures, predict pending issues, and minimize downtime effectively. Your responsibilities will include using advanced technology such as infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic tools for data collection, submitting work orders, and collaborating with maintenance planners for repairs. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring equipment, recommending maintenance actions, and participating in meetings to improve the reliability program. The ideal candidate will possess a background in industrial maintenance or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures.
• Review and analyze data to predict pending failure.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data gathering.
• Submit work orders and schedule repairs during planned maintenance.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Monitor equipment for issues and recommend necessary repairs.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings and contribute to improvement plans.
• Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through training.
• Comply with safety procedures and recommend equipment upgrades as needed.
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal correspondence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5 years' experience in reliability technology.
• Military experience considered, Pdm certifications a plus.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
