Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Utilize reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failure to minimize downtime effectively.
- Review and analyze data gathered to predict pending failure.
- Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data collection.
- Schedule repairs during planned maintenance downtime.
- Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
- Perform equipment maintenance tasks.
- Recommend shutdowns for immediate repairs to prevent catastrophic failure.
- Collect oil samples for analysis.
- Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Attend reliability and maintenance meetings.
- Initiate plans to improve equipment life.
- Stay current with predictive maintenance technology.
- Comply with safety procedures and recommend equipment upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5 years' experience with reliability technology.
- Military experience considered.
- Pdm certifications a plus or willingness to obtain.
- Root cause failure analysis expertise.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
