Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1 on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment through the analysis of data and predictive maintenance techniques. From utilizing cutting-edge technology to identifying potential machine failures, you will be instrumental in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities

• Utilize reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failure and minimize downtime effectively.
• Review and analyze data to predict pending failures and recommend necessary actions.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime for maintenance.
• Monitor equipment for noticeable issues and recommend immediate repairs to prevent catastrophic failure.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis and provide support to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings to improve and extend the life of manufacturing equipment.
• Stay current in predictive maintenance technology and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance OR a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with data analysis.
• PDM certifications or willingness to obtain them within a reasonable time frame.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis and ability to work independently or in a group.
